Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta international airport , you will find our driver guide waiting for you outside at the arrivals holding a poster bearing the company name for easy identification. After meeting him, he will brief you about the safari of Kenya .You will start your trip by driving out of Nairobi city to Limuru tea farms and here, the bikes will be off loaded and start your journey past the tea plantations to the Great Rift Valley. You will pass through the Rift Valley while admiring the views of the landscape passing through the Maasai villages and then head to the lodge to the lodge where you will stay for the night while having dinner at Kiambethu tea farm Limuru cottages.

After taking your morning breakfast, you will start biking from the lodge to the foot hill of mountain Longonot where you will climb the mountain while viewing lake Naivasha plus the surrounding areas. You will have to put on trekking boots with light clothes because of the hot weather. You will trek the mountain which may take about 4-5 hours going up and descending. Here, your guide will brief you about the details regarding trekking and after the trek, you will be driven to your lodge which is located on Lake Naivasha on its shores and here, hippos come to graze on the shores in the night so you will get a chance to see them. You will have your dinner and overnight at Naivasha Kongoni lodge.

After having breakfast, you will go on a boat cruise on the lake Naivasha searching for birds and hippos around the lake. After the boat cruise, you will drive to Hell’s Gate national park to bike across the park while watching birds and wildlife. After the ride, you will drive heading to Elsamare in the afternoon to Gorge Adamson for a documentary movie while taking cream tea and some cakes. You will drive back to Nairobi city. After having your morning breakfast, you will head straight to Tsavo East national park along the main Mombasa-Nairobi highway. After reaching at the park, you will start the safari game drive looking for animals on entry as we slowly and surely drive towards the direction of your accommodation looking for any resident wildlife that call Tsavo East home. In the afternoon, you will continue with another series of game viewing in search of more animals and birds, concentrating on maximizing your photo opportunities of any wildlife you may spot. You will return to the lodge before sunset for dinner and overnight at Ngulia safari lodge.

After having a cup of tea or coffee, you will depart for an early morning game drive in search of the big cats returning from their nocturnal hunts. You will return back to the lodge for a full breakfast. You may choose to relax at the lodge or you may depart for a short optional game drive returning to the lodge in time for lunch. You will relax while enjoying the swimming pool until about 3:00pm when you will start your evening Game Drive looking for more wildlife. Just before sunset, you will return back to the lodge to pack your property to start your journey to Tsavo West national park. Dinner and overnight at Kilanguni Serena Safari Lodge.

After having a cup of tea or coffee, you will depart for an early morning game drive in search of the big cats returning from their nocturnal hunts. You will return back to the lodge for a full breakfast. You may choose to relax at the lodge or you may depart for a short optional game drive returning to the lodge in time for lunch. You will relax while enjoying the swimming pool until about 3:00pm when you will start your evening game drive looking for more wildlife. The extensive diverse habitats of Tsavo West offers an ideal area to search for pride of Lions, Cheetahs, Giraffes, Zebras, Hippos, Wildebeests and many more. Mzima springs, an underground water seepage from Chyulu Hills is a good place to watch the Hippos. There is also wealth and diversity of birds’ species here for bird-lovers. Just before sunset, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Kilanguni Serena Safari Lodge.

After enjoying coffee or tea at the lodge , you will leave for an early morning game drive in search of animals and big cats that may have come out into the open during the night. After the game drive, you will then return to the lodge for a full breakfast. You will Check out from the lodge and you will start your journey passing via the Mombasa-Nairobi highway and then drive back to your hotel for dinner and overnight at Boma Nairobi hotel.

After having your morning breakfast, our driver guide will pick you from your hotel and then drive you to Nairobi national park which is located in the heart of the Nairobi city for a full day bird watching. Here, you will find a variety of different bird species such as Shelley’s Francolin, Pangani and yellow throated long claw, Spot Flanked barbets for example White headed, secretary birds, moustached warbler, Red throated tit, Water rail etc. You will come back to the hotel at 5pm for your dinner and overnight at Ololo safari lodge.

After having your morning breakfast, you will drive to Naivasha town whereby you will pass by Limuru ponds which is known for Maccoa duck, Red knobbed coot, herons, Moorhen, Egrets, Northern Shoveller, Southern Pochard etc. You will have lunch at Crayfish camp and later a stroll to the lake Naivasha and afterwards, you will drive to Hell’s gate to spot other bird species such as Red capped, Rufous naped lark, Balck Eagle, Augur buzzard, Schallow’s wheat ear etc. In the evening, you will start driving to Amboseli national park and after your registration at the park’s office, you will drive towards your lodge to check in and also have a rest plus lunch. You will have a game drive in the afternoon to search for animals such as crocodiles, giraffes, olive baboons, lions, topis, Elands, buffaloes, hippos, impalas, bush bucks, water bucks, monkeys, leopards, Cheetahs, Antelopes, Elephants etc. In the evening , you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena lodge.

Today, you will wake up at 4:00am and take your morning breakfast and organize yourself for the hot air balloon safari. By 5:30am you must be at the briefing point where the flight pilot will give you instructions to follow during the flight. At 6:00am, you will start your flight which will last for an hour above in the air. It is an exhilarating tour that most people never get to experience. The balloon flies predominantly over the park towards lake Amboseli which is the only permanent water source in Amboseli national park and it is a perfect place for spotting wildlife. Note that the area around the lake is particularly scenic, teeming with open plains, acacia woodlands, hippo’s water pools. The views are guaranteed to be magnificent and after the hot air balloon safari, you will have a full day game drive where you will be able to see crocodiles, hippos, birds, elephants, zebras, impala etc. You will have a boat ride on the lake to search for different types of birds, hippos and Nile crocodiles while viewing the sunset. After having your morning breakfast, you will start with a morning game drive to search for animals such as crocodiles, giraffes, olive baboons, lions, topis, Elands, buffaloes, hippos, impalas, bush bucks, water bucks, monkeys, leopards, Cheetahs, Antelopes, Elephants etc. During the morning game drive, you will see the magnificent snow capped mountain Kilimanjaro at a close range. The park has numerous swamps which attracts a lot of birds so you will not be disappointed if you are a bird lover. You will see different types of bird species such as Crakes, Flamingos, Kingfishers, Pelicans etc. The park has got an observation hill where you can get out of the vehicle and walk around with a safari guide from to the top around where you can see the park in all corners. At the hill, you will have your lunch while resting preparing yourself for the evening game drive. After lunch, you will continue with the game drive and you proceed to the watering holes where a large number of elephants families gather around to drink water and also lions will try their luck to catch dinner. After having your morning breakfast, you will spend the whole day exploring Maasai Mara national park looking for animals such as crocodiles, giraffes, olive baboons, lions, topis, Elands, buffaloes, hippos, impalas, bush bucks, water bucks, monkeys, leopards, Cheetahs, Antelopes, Elephants etc. Note that the Nile crocodiles and hippos can be spotted at the river bank all the year. The park is known as the best place for seeing the 3 big cats family such as leopard, lions and cheetahs. In the evening, you will drive back at the lodge for dinner and overnight at Lenchada tourist hotel.

After having your morning breakfast, you will have a morning game drive to search for other animals which you were not able to see in the previous days. After having your lunch, you will set off for Nairobi city. Dinner and overnight at Boma Nairobi hotel.

After having your morning breakfast, you will go on a city tour in Nairobi city to visit the national museum, national theatre, muslim mosque, local markets to by some souvenirs etc. Later in the evening, you will be transferred to the airport to take your flight to Kigali Rwanda for gorilla trekking. After having your morning breakfast, our driver guide will come and pick you at your hotel and he will drive you straight way to Akagera national park in Eastern part of Rwanda to check in with the park lodge. After registration at the park’s office, you will proceed to your booked lodge to rest and relax. In the afternoon, you will have a boat ride at lake Ihema where you will be able to see crocodiles, hippos, birds, elephants, zebras, impala etc. In the evening, you will drive back at the lodge for dinner and overnight at Mantis Akagera game lodge.

After having your morning breakfast, you will have a full day game drive with your packed lunch. You will start by searching for animals such as crocodiles, giraffes, olive baboons, lions, topis, Elands, buffaloes, hippos, impalas, bush bucks, water bucks, monkeys, leopards, Cheetahs, Antelopes, Elephants etc. You will have your lunch at the picnic while resting. After lunch, you will have a boat ride on lake Ihema to search for crocodiles, hippos, birds etc. Later in the evening, you will drive back to Kigali and start your journey to the volcanoes national park for gorilla tracking. Dinner and overnight at Virunga lodge.

Today, you will wake up at 5:30am and have your breakfast while preparing for your first day of gorilla tracking. After your breakfast, you will get things which you will use during and also go with your packed lunch. Don’t forget to come with your jacket, camera, a hut, a face mask on your during tracking and after reaching at Kinigi headquarters for briefing at 6:30am, you will learn more about different types of gorilla families and also their behaviors. After the briefing, you start your trek which will take 2-6 hours whereby on your way, you will enjoy the beautiful sights and sounds of the rainforest. After enjoying an hour stay with the gorillas, you will return to the starting point where you will meet your driver guide and drive you back to lodge for resting. You will wake up very early in the morning to have your breakfast and then after drive to Kinigi headquarters for briefing. On your second day of gorilla tracking, you will be allocated another gorilla group or family which you will track and you will get more experience with the gorillas learning more about them which will create bonding with them leaving you with unforgettable experience on your life. After an hour with the gorillas, you will hike down to the starting point to meet your driver guide who will drive you to Nyungwe national park. Dinner and overnight at one&only Nyungwe house.

You will wake up very early in the morning and have yourbreakfast, at 5:00am you will report to the Nyungwe park office at Gisakura to meet the park guides for briefing and thereafter drive to the starting point of your chimpanzee trekking adventure in Nyungwe Forest National Park (Cyamudongo Forest). After the chimpanzee adventure you shall spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at at one&only Nyungwe house.

Nyungwe forest has got a large montane forest and it is rich in birds especially the Albertine Rift Endemics. So far these 2 days, you will have to search for different bird species such as Purple breasted and Sun birds, White tailed blue flycatcher, Neumann’s short tailed warbler, Rwenzori Batis, Black faced and collared Apalises, Mountain masked, Doherty bush Shrike, Archers Robin chat, Red collared Babbler etc. Dinner and overnight at one&only Nyungwe house.

After having your morning breakfast, you will go for a hike in Nyungwe Forest National Park. Nyungwe has about 15 hiking trails that give visitors a chance to experience the diversity of the forest. You will take on the Isumo trail (waterfall trail) for a 3 hour hike. Alternatively you can do the colobus monkey tracking at Gisakura. The colobus monkey tracking is a light and shorter tour as this group of the colobus monkeys lives near the forest edge. After the monkey track and hike, you will drive to Kamembe town for a boat ride on lake Kivu and after the boat ride, you will drive to your hotel for dinner and overnight at Viva hotel.

After having your morning breakfast, you will ride-off along the Congo Nile trail to Mugonero heading towards children’s village where lunch will be served. After having lunch, you will have a guided tour teaching you about the life of Esperance. Your dinner will be prepared by fresh produced food by Esperance children’s village. After having your morning breakfast, you will ride-off uphill heading to Gisovu tea plantation and a long your way you will pass by Bisesero Genocide memorial which is option to visit. You will continue climbing up to Gisovu tea plantation on the edge of Nyungwe forest. Keep it in mind all that uphill climbing, it will be a downhill all the way to Esperance. Lunch will be served at pique-nique during the ride. Dinner and overnight at Esperance children’s village.

After having your morning breakfast, you will pack your bags, put the bikes on the truck and start the journey back to Kigali. You will start your city tour by visiting the sobering Kigali Genocide Memorial. Kigali Genocide Memorial site in Gisozi, a place of remembrance and learning, and to honor victims of genocide against the Tutsi and ensure that it never happens again. The Kigali Genocide Memorial is the final resting place for more than 250,000 victims of the genocide against the Tutsi. Visit Kimironko market to buy souvenirs and also interact with the locals and in the evening, we will have a farewell dinner together and transfer you will to your hotel for overnight at Century park hotel.

After having your morning breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport to take your flight back home to meet your family and that will mark the end of your safari in Rwanda and Kenya.
