Rwanda and Uganda safari Experience

Upon your arrival at Kigali international airport, you will find our driver waiting for you outside at the arrivals holding a poster bearing the company name for easy identification. After meeting him, he will drive you straight to Century Park Hotel to check in with your hotel. You will rest for a while and then later in the evening, your driver will come and pick you from you hotel to drive you around Kigali city while having stopovers at some cafes and restaurants. You will get a chance to experience Kigali night life by visiting some clubs, cultural events and interacting with the locals and then later you will be taken back to your hotel for overnight at Century park hotel.

After having your morning breakfast, your drive will come and pick you from your hotel take you to the golf course located in Nyarutarama in the heart of Kigali city. You will register at the golf course office and then start your morning game. Your driver will be waiting for you while playing your game and after the game, he will drive you back to your hotel to have lunch while resting preparing yourself for the evening game. In the afternoon, your drive will come and pick you again and drive you to the golf course for the evening game. After the evening game, you will drive back at your hotel for dinner and overnight at Century park hotel.

You will be picked from your hotel in Kigali at 8:00 am after finishing your breakfast and he will give you a short briefing about your Kigali city tour, and start with a visit to the sobering Kigali Genocide Memorial. Kigali Genocide Memorial site in Gisozi, a place of remembrance and learning, and to honor victims of genocide against the Tutsi and ensure that it never happens again. The Kigali Genocide Memorial is the final resting place for more than 250,000 victims of the genocide against the Tutsi. Here you will be able to visit the three permanent exhibitions, the largest of which documents the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi. You will visit Kimironko market to buy some souvenirs and also interact with the locals, Visit Nymata genocide memorials and later in the evening, you will hit some night clubs to get an experience of Kigali night life. Later in the evening, you will drive back at your hotel for dinner and overnight at Century park hotel.

Today, you will wake up at 4:00am and take your morning breakfast and organize yourself for the hot air balloon safari. By 5:30am you must be at the briefing point where the flight pilot will give you instructions to follow during the flight. At 6:00am, you will start your flight which will last for an hour above in the air. It is an exhilarating tour that most people never get to experience. The balloon flies predominantly over the park towards lake Ihema which is the only permanent water source in Akagera national park and it is a perfect place for spotting wildlife. Note that the area around the lake is particularly scenic, teeming with open plains, acacia woodlands, hippo’s water pools. The views are guaranteed to be magnificent and after the hot air balloon safari, you will have a full day game drive where you will be able to see crocodiles, hippos, birds, elephants, zebras, impala etc. You will have a boat ride at lake Ihema to for different types of birds, hippos and crocodiles while viewing the sunset. After the boat ride, you will start your journey back to Kigali city for dinner and overnight at Century park hotel.

After having your morning breakfast, your drive will come and pick you from your hotel take you to the tennis court located in the heart of Kigali city. You will register at the tennis court office and then start your morning game. Your driver will be waiting for you while playing your game and after the game, he will drive you back to your hotel to have lunch while resting preparing yourself for the evening game. In the afternoon, your drive will come and pick you again and drive you to the tennis court for the evening game. After the evening game, you will drive back at your hotel for dinner and overnight at Century park hotel.

After having your early morning breakfast, you will be picked from your hotel at 4:30am and start your journey driving to volcanoes national park to the head office. By 6:00am you will be at the park head office in Kinigi for briefing by park officials and you will be divided into groups of 8 people depending on the Gorilla family you will visit. After your briefing, you will start your trek which will take about 2-6 hours depending on the movement of the Gorillas. You will have 1 hour with the Gorillas while taking pictures and also learning more about their behaviors. On your return, you will meet your driver guide at the starting point and then drive to Nyungwe national park for chimpanzee tracking and canopy walk. Dinner and overnight at one&only Nyungwe house.

Virunga lodge

After having your morning breakfast, you will go for a hike in Nyungwe Forest National Park. Nyungwe has about 15 hiking trails that give visitors a chance to experience the diversity of the forest. You will take on the Isumo trail (waterfall trail) for a 3 hour hike. Alternatively you can do the colobus monkey tracking at Gisakura. The colobus monkey tracking is a light and shorter tour as this group of the colobus monkeys lives near the forest edge. After the monkey track and hike, you will drive to Kamembe town for a boat ride on lake Kivu and after the boat ride, you will drive to your hotel for dinner and overnight at Viva hotel.

After having your morning breakfast, you will ride-off along the Congo Nile trail to Mugonero heading towards children’s village where lunch will be served. After having lunch, you will have a guided tour teaching you about the life of Esperance. Your dinner will be prepared by fresh produced food by Esperance children’s village. Dinner and overnight at Esperance children’s village.

oneonly Nyungwe house

After having your morning breakfast, you will ride-off uphill heading to Gisovu tea plantation and a long your way you will pass by Bisesero Genocide memorial which is option to visit. You will continue climbing up to Gisovu tea plantation on the edge of Nyungwe forest. Keep it in mind all that uphill climbing, it will be a downhill all the way to Esperance. Lunch will be served at pique-nique during the ride. After lunch, you will pack your bags, put the bikes on the truck and start the journey back to Kigali. Dinner and overnight at Century Park hotel.

Viva hotel

After having your morning brewakfast, you will drive to Bwindi national park in Kabale district in Uganda for Gorilla Trekking. You will spend the whole day rest and having a community walk around the villages to interact with the locals. Overnight and dinner at 4 Gorilla Lodge.

Esperance childrens village

Today, you will wake up at 5:30am and take your breakfast and start to organize yourself the today’s activity of tracking gorillas in the forest. You will go with your packed food, water, jacket, camera, face mask, a hut and by 6:30am you will be at park headquarters for briefing where you will learn more about different Gorilla families and the rules to follow while tracking. After briefing, you will follow the park rangers who will lead you during the trek. After the trek, you will meet your driver guide at the starting point and you will start your journey to Queen Elizabeth national park. Dinner and overnight at Irungu forest safari lodge.

After having your morning breakfast, you will start with a morning game drive that exposes you to diverse animals such as the Big 5 (Elephants, buffaloes, Rhinos, big cats like lions, leopards etc). During the evening time, Hyenas, warthogs are spotted along the circuits as you drive along. The park is rich with bird life especially our version of storks in the wetlands and also you will spot the Flamingos when you reach at the salt lake in Kasenyi. You will enjoy a boat cruise on the famous Kazinga channel which is about 36km channel linking lake George and lake Edward. On the bot cruise, you will see hippos, Nile crocodiles and also pigs on the lake shores. Dinner and overnight at Irungu forest safari lodge.

Gorilla Lodge

After having your early morning breakfast, you will have another cycling in a group in Queen Elizabeth national park in the savannah and while encounter with Elephants, zebras, waterbucks, giraffes, buffaloes etc. First you cycle down a tarred road, before you change onto a gravel path along Lake Edward to the Southern Ishasha Sector of the nature reserve. If the temperatures get to hot, you can stop cycling and change into the safari bus. Later you reach your beautiful positioned lodge close to a waterhole. Elephants and antelopes might be seen here during their evening visit. Depending on your time of arrival, there might be a possibility of going on a safari drive through the Ishasha sector which is famous for its tree-climbing lions. After having your early morning breakfast, you will have a morning game drive to see other animals which you not able to see during the previous days on a bike safari or game drive and then later in the afternoon get on a vehicle to driver back to Kampala. Dinner and overnight at Serena hotel.

After having your morning breakfast, our driver guide will come and pick you from your hotel and drive you to Jinja district located in eastern part of Uganda which takes about 2 hours to reach there. After reaching in Jinja town, you will drive straight to your hotel to check in and after that, you will drive towards river Nile for rafting, Kayaking or tubing. The activity takes you rowing through the turbulent sections and rapids of the river Nile. The rapids are graded 4 &5 hence offering some of the best Whitewater rafting experience in the world. This activity will give you time to relax, mingle wither rafters, spot birds, enjoy the nature and watch local fishermen fishing. After rafting, you will have another activity where you will go for bungee jumping and this is one of the craziest activity you will ever do in your life. It involves jumping from a tower which is 44 meters high and down wards the Nile waters with a rope tied to the ankles. Then in the evening, you will have a sunset cruise where you will watch the sunset while enjoying a wonderful time with your family and friends on the majestic River Nile. Enjoy dinner with cold drinks while having great views of the Islands. After the boat cruise, you will drive back to your hotel for overnight at source of the Nile hotel.

After having your morning breakfast, you will have a tour tour of Jinja tour where you will visit the source of the Nile with its beautiful gardens that are perfect for relaxation and marveling at the Nile river. Visiting the monument of Mahatma Gandhi, markets, churches and Indian old buildings. After the town tour, you will have lunch and in the afternoon, you will have a biking tour around the villages which allows you to get an insight into the lives of the people that live here, the green scenery, and the fresh and cool breezes from Lake Victoria and River Nile, and also exploring the breathtakingly beautiful Lake Victoria Peninsular through single-track dirt roads and experiencing with stunning views. In the evening you while ride back to your hotel for dinner and overnight at the source of the Nile hotel.

After having your morning breakfast, you will jump on the quad bikes and hit the road to visit forests, villages, farms and the banks of the river Nile. You don’t need to have any experience in order to take part in quad biking because we provide free partice before the riding session. After the ride, you will ride back to Jinja town to have lunch and in the evening, you will have the afternoon rafting visiting major rapids of river Nile. The driver will come to pick you drive you back to your hotel to pack your bags and start your journey to Kampala city and later in the evening, you will be transferred to the airport to take your flight back home.
