Day 1: Transfer to Serengeti National Park

Start your day with a hearty breakfast and set off for Serengeti National Park, known for its diverse birdlife. After completing the park registration, begin a game drive to spot various bird species, including Ring-necked dove, Red-eyed dove, Speckled pigeon, Denham’s bustard, Yellow-throated sand grouse, and more. Keep your eyes open for wildlife encounters, such as crocodiles, giraffes, lions, topis, Elands, cape buffaloes, hippos, impalas, and leopards. Stay overnight at Serengeti Tortilis camp.

Day 2&3: Full day bird watching

Enjoy a full day of bird watching and game drives. Seek out bird species like African black duck, Eurasian teal, Common Ostrich, Greater Flamingo, Helmeted Guinea fowl, and many others. In the evening, return to your lodge for dinner and a comfortable night's rest at Serengeti Tortilis camp.

Day 4: Half day bird watching safari

On this day, engage in a half-day birdwatching expedition to spot any bird species you might have missed in the previous days. Look out for birds like Eagles, Eurasian marsh harriers, Martial Eagle, Tawny Eagle, and more. After lunch, drive back to Arusha, concluding your 4-day birding safari. Later, you'll be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your journey back home.
