Safari to Saadani National Park

Upon your arrival at Julius Nyerere International Airport, our driver guide will be waiting for you, holding a poster with the company name for easy identification. After meeting him, you will receive a briefing on the 4-day safari to Saadani National Park. You will then travel to Saadani National Park, located southward of Dar es Salaam, along the Indian Ocean coastline. Enjoy a hot lunch at the lodge and embark on an afternoon game drive in Saadani National Park. The park features a diverse population of mammals and birds to keep you entertained. Its southern boundary is marked by the navigable Wami River, attracting an array of birdlife, hippos, crocodiles, and the beautiful black and white colobus monkey. Start your day with an early morning breakfast, followed by a morning game drive to spot animals such as lions, zebras, buffaloes, impalas, crocodiles, and giraffes. After the game drive, return to the lodge to rest and enjoy a leisurely afternoon, with a sumptuous lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, embark on a boat safari along the Wami River, where you'll encounter hippos, crocodiles, and diverse bird species, while enjoying the scenic landscapes of the park. Return to the lodge before sunset for dinner and an overnight stay at Saadani Park Hotel.

After your morning breakfast, take a guided tour of Saadani villages to gain insights into the daily life of the local people. You'll walk back to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, go for a beach walk on Saadani's sandy beach and enjoy swimming in the Indian Ocean, basking under the sunshine. In the evening, embark on a Saadani Village tour. Return to the lodge before sunset for dinner and an overnight stay at Saadani Park Hotel.

Begin your day with coffee or tea at the lodge, followed by a full day game drive to spot animals like lions, zebras, buffaloes, impalas, flamingos, and giraffes. Look out for big cats that may be active during the day. After the game drive, return to the lodge for a full breakfast. Check out from the lodge and start your journey back to Dar es Salaam. In the evening, you will be transferred to the airport for your return flight home.
