Bird watching in Tarangire & Lake Manyara

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our driver guide will be waiting for you at the arrivals area, holding a company name poster for easy identification. After meeting the guide, you will be driven to Arusha Planet Lodge, where you will stay overnight and prepare for the next day's activities.

Arusha planet lodge

Start your day with breakfast and then embark on a journey from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, accompanied by packed lunches. It's a 3-hour drive to the park from Arusha. After completing park registration, you'll begin birdwatching during a game drive. Look out for bird species like Yellow-necked spurfowl, Speckle-fronted weaver, and more. You'll also encounter wildlife such as crocodiles, giraffes, lions, and impalas. Enjoy dinner and spend the night at Lake Burunge Tented Lodge.

Burunge tented lodge

After breakfast, embark on a full day of game drives and bird watching, starting from Sangaiwe Gate in the eastern part of the park. Look for various bird species like African black duck, Eurasian teal, and wildlife including crocodiles, giraffes, lions, and more. In the evening, return to the lodge at Lake Burunge Tented Lodge for dinner and rest.

Start your day with an early breakfast and set off for Lake Manyara with packed lunches. At the lake, you can spot bird species like Greater Flamingos, Grey crowned crane, and more. Enjoy dinner and stay overnight at Tloma Lodge.

Tloma lodge

After breakfast, embark on an exciting adventure to observe more birds and wildlife, such as crocodiles, giraffes, lions, and impalas. After lunch, drive back to Arusha, marking the end of your 5-day birding safari. Later, you'll be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your journey back home.
