Explore the best birding spots in Uganda, the 'pearl of Africa,' which offers a rich variety of habitats for birdwatching enthusiasts, including forests, swamps, woodlands, agricultural areas, grasslands, and acacia savannah. The tour covers Semulike Game Wildlife Reserve, Kibale Forest National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Bwindi National Park, Lake Mburo National Park, and Mabamba Wetlands.
Upon your arrival at Entabbe airport, you will find our drive guide waiting for you outside at the arrivals holding a poster bearing the company name for easy identification. After meeting him, he will drive you to Boma hotel in Entebbe where you will spend your overnight while preparing yourself for tomorrow’s activity.

After having your early morning breakfast, you will start your birding safari by driving to Mabamba wetlands in Entebbe. This wetland has got different types of bird species such as White winged Gonolek, Blue breasted bee eater, Afep pigeons, Black shouldered night jar, Blue swallow, Lesser Jacana and shoebill etc. Dinner and overnight at cassia lodge.

After having your morning breakfast, you will drive to Kampala city for a short tour of the city and then continue with your journey to lake Mburo national park. During the journey, you will have a stopover at the Equator and Royal Drum makers to take some photos and then continue with your journey to Lake Mburo national park which is known for its unique fauna, antelopes, zebras, topis, impala and several acacia associated birds, hippos, crocodiles and with a variety of water birds. You will have your dinner and overnight at Mihingo lodge.

After having your morning breakfast, you will have a game drive as you watch different types of bird species such as Black collard barbet, African fin foot, Yellow billed ox peckers, papyrus yellow warbler, Southern ground Hornbill, Red faced barbet, Brown chested Plover etc. In the evening, you will have a boat ride on lake Mburo. Dinner and overnight at Mihingo lodge. You will have a 2 days of bird watching in the national park.

After having your morning breakfast, you will drive to Bwindi impenetrable forest which is located in Kabale district in Uganda. On your journey, you will have stopover at Mubwindi swamp for more bird watching and then later in the evening , you will reach at Buhoma birding en-route. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla forest camp.

After having your morning breakfast, you will drive to Queen Elizabeth national park where you will have a full day game drive while watching different types of bird species. These 2 days, you will be having a game drive and also bird watching. Dinner and overnight at Mweya safari lodge.

After having your morning breakfast, you will drive to kibale national park for bird watching. You will be able to see different types of bird species such as Tiny sun birds, Orange Tufted, Chest nut winged starling, Black capped Apalis, Grey throated flycatcher masked etc. In the evening, you will have dinner and overnight at chimpanzee forest guest house.

After having your morning breakfast, you will drive to Semuliki valley wildlife Reserve and then you will have a boat ride on Lake Albert in search for shoebill and other bird species. You will have a game drive for a full day and then later in the evening you will drive back to Kampala. Dinner and overnight Serena hotel in Kampala to rest while relaxing from the bird watching safari.

After having your morning breakfast, you will be transferred to Entebbe airport to take your flight back home to meet your family and this will be your end of the 12 days of birding safari in Uganda.
