Biking Safari Uganda Tour

On your arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be received by our driver guide who will drive you to your hotel for resting and then later in the day you will have a city tour in Kampala city. After resting, you will start your city tour by visiting the Uganda museum, King’s palace, Kasubi tombs of the Buganda kings, visit some markets to buy souvenirs and also have a natural walk in the city. After that, you will be taken back to your hotel for dinner and overnight at Serena hotel.

You will wake up very early in the morning and have your breakfast, then prepare yourself for the journey to Entebbe where your biking safari will start from. You will start cycling on the lake shore passing via beaches while enjoying the beautiful view of Lake Victoria. You will rest for lunch on shores of the lake and then after continue with your journey. In the afternoon you will get on aboat to take you to Ssese Island where you will continue with your ride while watching different bird species and also having a beach walk along the lake. In the evening, you get back to the boat ride back to Entebbe for dinner and overnight at Admas Grand hotel.

After having your early morning breakfast, you will take a boat back to Ssese Island where you will bike on dirt roads through fishing villages up to the Island capital “Kalangala”. You will continue cycling futher to other side of the Island where you will find the sacred cave for the fishing Gods are being worshipped by the local people. In the evening, you will relax on the beach while having a chance to swim in Lake Victoria and later go back to your lodge to relax in the swimming pool. Dinner and overnight at Brovad sand lodge.

After having your early morning breakfast, you will cycle along a hilly street to Bugoma and take a ferry back to the mainland. You will the driver waiting for you in a tourist vehicle to drive you to lake Mburo national park to have a bike tour in the park. If you are lucky enough will see zebras and impalas at the gate of the park. You will get off the vehicle and bike towards your lodge where you will have your dinner and overnight at Rwakobo Rock lodge.

After having your early morning breakfast, you will start your day by have a game walk through the park with seeing different types of animals such as zebras, antelopes, impalas, giraffes etc and later jump on your bike to ride through the park on a bicycle. Because of wild animals such as buffaloes, you are request to remain on bike cycling in a group and the tourist vehicle will accompany in front and a ranger for your protection. After having your early morning breakfast, you will jump on your bike and cycle towards the exit of Lake Mburo national park continuing to western part of Uganda. You will have lunch on your way and then later jump on a car to drive you to Fort portal where you will again start to ride your bikes from the town. You will ride along the tea plantation heading to Kibale national park and later get back in the car to drive you to your lodge to have dinner and overnight at chimpanzee view guest house.

After having your early morning breakfast, you will have another cycling in a group in Queen Elizabeth national park in the savannah and while encounter with Elephants, zebras, waterbucks, giraffes, buffaloes etc. First you cycle down a tarred road, before you change onto a gravel path along Lake Edward to the Southern Ishasha Sector of the nature reserve. If the temperatures get to hot, you can stop cycling and change into the safari bus. Later you reach your beautiful positioned lodge close to a waterhole. Elephants and antelopes might be seen here during their evening visit. Depending on your time of arrival, there might be a possibility of going on a safari drive through the Ishasha sector which is famous for its tree-climbing lions. Dinner and overnight at Enjojo lodge.

After having your early morning breakfast, you will have a morning game drive to see other animals which you not able to see when a bike safari and then later in the afternoon get on a vehicle to driver back to Kampala and when you reach in the city, you will be taken straight to Entebbe airport to take your flight back home to meet your family and this will mark the end of your 8 days’ bike safari in Uganda.
